Kingston, OK · Lake Texoma Region
First Drive Foundation and Texoma Tee Box were born from the same belief — that golf changes lives, and every kid deserves a first drive.
Our Story
What if the biggest barrier to a kid picking up golf wasn't talent or time — it was just not having clubs? In the Texoma region, that question had a clear answer. Equipment costs kept the sport out of reach for too many young players.
First Drive Foundation was created as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit to solve that problem directly: collect donated equipment, refurbish it, and put it in the hands of kids under 18 — completely free. No tryouts. No fees. Just golf.
Texoma Tee Box, the for-profit pro shop, was built alongside the Foundation to create a sustainable funding engine. When you buy a driver, get your clubs regripped, or pick up a sleeve of balls, a portion of every sale flows back into the Foundation's equipment program.
The Model
Premium golf equipment, apparel, club fitting, repair, and regripping — all under one roof in Kingston, OK.
A portion of every Texoma Tee Box sale is directed to First Drive Foundation's equipment and program budget.
First Drive Foundation distributes refurbished clubs, bags, and gear to youth under 18 in the Texoma region — at no cost.
Rooted in Texoma
Nestled on the shores of Lake Texoma, Kingston sits at the crossroads of Oklahoma and Texas. It's a tight-knit community where people show up for each other — and that spirit is exactly what drives both organizations. We're not a national charity with a local chapter. We're neighbors building something for our neighbors.
